Celebrated Nigerian skit maker, Sabinus, and his spouse are rejoicing over the arrival of their first child.

Sabinus joyfully shared the news during an Instagram live session on Wednesday evening, where he was seen kissing the baby, whose gender has not been revealed, as he smiled for the camera.

Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Mr Funny or Oga Sabinus, is a Nigerian comedian, content creator, actor, and skit maker. He embarked on his career in 2015, gaining significant mainstream success in 2019. His talent for comedy was evident from a young age, and he began creating skits while in university. His breakthrough came in 2015 during a School Student Union week, where he showcased his talent and later expanded his reach by posting skits on social media, particularly Instagram. His content caught the attention of top Nigerian Instagram influencers, leading to a substantial increase in his followers.

In 2019, Mr Funny became a prominent figure in the comedy industry. His popularity has led to several achievements, including being nominated for The Humor Awards Academy in 2021 alongside Basketmouth. He is also a brand ambassador for Oddstackr and other notable brands. Mr Funny cites Mr Ibu and Charles Inojie as his comedy role models.

In 2022, he won the Best Male Skit Maker category at the Legit.ng Awards. Additionally, Mr Funny has appeared in several Nollywood movies such as 'Billionaire's Bride' and 'Man of War'. In May 2022, he took legal action against two Nigerian food companies for allegedly using his image and catchphrases without permission.

Mr Funny made his London debut as Oga Sabinus at The Lighthouse event center in September 2022.
