In a tragic turn of events, a sugarcane vendor and a military officer were killed after being struck by a trailer truck that lost control in Kwara State.

The incident occurred at a checkpoint in Moro Local Government Area, where the victims were attempting to cross the road when the trailer veered off course.

The victims were reportedly struck by the truck, resulting in two fatalities and multiple injuries.

The sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Frederick Ogidan, confirmed the incident, urging road users to be more cautious and mindful of road safety.
