Simi and Adekunle Gold, a popular Afrobeats duo, are currently making waves following a recent online video.

In the video, Simi asked Adekunle Gold for advice on how to respond to men who approach her while she's out for a stroll. She wondered what to do if someone compliments her, calling her beautiful names like "fine girl" or "queen." Adekunle Gold advised her to ignore such advances or to inform the men that she is married.

Simi and Adekunle Gold got married in a private wedding ceremony on January 9, 2019. It was later revealed that they had been dating for five years.

Simi became a mother for the first time on the 30th of May 2020 when she gave birth to her daughter Adejare.
