Turkish authorities have detained 145 people across Turkey, including in the capital, Ankara, on suspicion of links to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which is designated a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union, and the United States.
The detentions are said to be part of an investigation into the alleged smuggling of weapons and explosives to the PKK.
The arrests come at a time of heightened tension between Turkey and the PKK, with the latter stepping up its attacks on Turkish security forces in recent months.
