Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu criticized Verydarkman (VDM), a popular social media user, for mocking and celebrating the arrest and detention of cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Bobrisky was detained by the Lagos State Command of the EFCC on Wednesday for offenses related to the abuse and mutilation of naira notes, as well as the spraying of Naira notes.

In a series of videos posted on his Instagram page, VDM mocked Bobrisky and warned sympathizers not to try to use their influence to help him. He specifically mentioned individuals like Mr. Blue Audi, Mr. Lamborghini, and Mr. Pinnock, advising them not to intervene, as it could have negative consequences.

However, Uche Maduagwu expressed disappointment in VDM's reaction, stating that Bobrisky had shown more maturity.

Maduagwu highlighted that when VDM was arrested by the police for spreading fake news, Bobrisky did not mock or celebrate his situation. Maduagwu criticized VDM, saying, "It's obvious Bobrisky is more mature than you 100%. When you were arrested by the Police for spreading fake news, she never rejoiced or laughed at your situation. But just a few hours after EFCC arrested Bobrisky, you have started rejoicing and making skits. What a shame."
