An unidentified man who was in handcuffs reportedly fell off a moving police vehicle in Anambra and died instantly. The incident occurred on Wednesday at the Ogbo-Ogwu Drug Market by Port Harcourt Road in Onitsha, Anambra State.

A video circulating on social media shows the man being arrested by police officers who seized goods from traders in the market. As the police officers were driving away with the seized items, the handcuffed man fell from the vehicle, hit his head on the road, and died.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, confirmed seeing the video and has forwarded it to the Onitsha Area Commander for investigation. The command has urged for calm and assured that those responsible for the incident will be identified.
