The late Head (Baba Aladura) of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye, will be laid to rest in a Mausoleum at a memorial Museum and Park constructed at the Galilee Land headquarters of the church located on the Ilorin/Ogbomoso express road, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

The chairman of the burial committee, Senior Special Apostle Aderemi Awode, announced this at a press conference, marking the beginning of the weeklong funeral program to be held at the Galilee Land headquarters of the Church.

Prophet Abidoye passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 103. Awode explained that the late Prophet, who was instrumental in establishing the Galilee Land as the new headquarters of the Church, would be buried in a Mausoleum within a memorial park named after him at the national headquarters of the Church.

Awode emphasized that the Museum and memorial park would include an e-library featuring information about the C&S Movement Church and its founder, His Eminence, Most Apostle Moses Orimolade. He highlighted that the funeral program, scheduled from Monday, April 22 to Sunday, April 28, 2024, would take place mainly at the Galilee land headquarters, except on Thursday when the body would be taken to his hometown, Omun-Aran in Irepodun local government area of Kwara state for a commendation service.

The ordination of the new Baba Aladura, Most Senior Special Apostle Prophet Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, will be held at the C&S Movement Church Auditorium, Galilee land on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Awode assured that adequate security arrangements had been made with all security agencies to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for the funeral, which is expected to be attended by over 10,000 people, including heads of various Churches.
