A man, who has not yet been identified, was killed in a suspected hit-and-run accident in the Mile 2 area of Lagos State.

The incident occurred on Friday night at approximately 9:30 pm on the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway near the Ballet bus stop across from Pinnacle Filling Station.

According to an eyewitness named Olusegun, the victim was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. A passerby contacted the emergency response team, which arrived promptly.

The team, led by Mr. Christopher Okudibe, arrived at 6:15 am on Saturday to remove the body.

He said, “The accident happened suddenly and the driver didn’t bother to wait. The emergency response team was called and they responded swiftly in the morning around 6:15 am.”
