Overrated Egyptians has escaped the massive loom that would have befallen them after bagging 3points in total, in the Group B of the ongoing African Cup of nations (AFCON).

Egypt who seems to be one of the favorites in the ongoing tournament, has find it difficult to secure a single victory in the group stage but snakily find their way to the next phase, banking on the black stars of Ghana inability to hold onto their lead against the  Mozambique. 

Underrated Cape Verde  turns terror to the Egyptians after an opening goal in the 32nd minute of the first half leaving the Pharaohs in a sudden doubt, due to the teams magician Mohammed Salah, who is not present in the game due to injury.

Cape Verde who had a successful first half, thought everything will end easy in their favour, as the Egyptians came out in the second half with their equalizer weapon and took the lead, until the 96th minute of the game before an heartbreaking equalizer from Cape Verde, but the Egyptians still have their ways through because of Ghana’s draw. 

The AFCON next phase which is the quarter final, continues to hit up as countries with prolific players like (Nigeria, Senegal, Cape Verde, Egypt,Equatorial Guinea etc are now waiting for who will be their opponents.
