Despite being on house arrest for previous felony gun charges, he now faces new allegations. Gaulden, 24, was booked into Cache County Jail by the Cache County Sheriff's Office.

The charges against him include multiple counts related to drug procurement, forgery, identity fraud, and possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, as well as possession of controlled substances and engaging in unlawful activity patterns. Gaulden, who had been awaiting trial in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was previously facing a federal gun charge, though another gun charge was dropped earlier this year.

The current charges stem from a 2020 incident during a music video shoot where Baton Rouge police arrested him and 15 others following a tip about individuals with firearms. Gaulden also faced attempted murder charges for a 2016 drive-by shooting, but one charge was dropped, and the other was reduced to aggravated assault with a firearm. In 2017, Gaulden, then 17, received a suspended 10-year prison sentence and three years of supervised probation for his involvement in the shooting.
