Afrobeat artist Rema recently expressed dissatisfaction with his record label, Mavin Records, on social media, accusing them of engaging in "fake" PR.
Mavin Records had earlier announced on Twitter that Rema was working on a new project, which he retweeted with a comment expressing surprise and questioning the accuracy of their statement.
Rema criticized Mavin Records for their alleged lack of creativity and urged them to refrain from using him to gain attention through what he perceived as deceptive PR tactics.
He tweeted, “Labels get creative, stop trying to clone me. No new music. sorry. I’m too big for fake PR bye!”
